KARACHI: Deputy Commissioner and Administrator District Central Taha Saleem has said that our brave Army is iron wall of national defense due to which people of country live without fear. Addressing Defense Day ceremony at Khatun-e-Pakistan Secondary School in Gulberg zone Taha Salim said that on September 6, 1965 our brave Army surprised world by repulsing aggression of an enemy four times its size. Get educated and dedicate yourself to service of country and nation.

 Earlier, Taha Saleem hoisted national flag. He informed audience about enthusiasm of Pakistan forces and people in war of 1965 and emphasised we should always remember sacrifices of our martyrs.

Students presented songs and tableaus regarding Defense Day. A commemorative shield was also presented. Municipal Commissioner Central Zahid Hussain, Director Education Akhtar Raza, Deputy Directors of four zones, teachers and students were present.
