Pak Naval Chief discusses key matters with Governor Sindh Tessori

KARACHI: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammed Amjad Khan Niazi and Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori discussed professional capabilities of Pakistan Navy, its importance in national defence, role of Pakistan Navy in protection of country’s coastal areas and other issues of mutual interests.

Lauding capabilities of Pakistan Navy, he said that our navy had professional approach. He said that Pakistan Navy besides with protection of coastal areas was also playing its role in controlling smuggling.

He said that professional skills of Pakistan Navy are second to none. He said that Pakistan Navy is playing significant role in guarding maritime borders as well as preventing smuggling.

Meanwhile, Governor and Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic Ulanbek Totuiaev discussed bilateral relations, trade, investment and other matters of importance. Governor said that Pak-Kyrgyzstan bilateral relations are becoming more stable with time, they are willing to increase trade with Kyrgyzstan. He said that exchange of bilateral delegations will further strengthen relations. He said that there are various sectors in province where immediate profits are assured from investment. Ambassador said that Pak-Kyrgyzstan relations are very important for region. .

Moreover, former Deputy Mayor of Karachi Arshad Vohra and Kamran Tessori discussed ongoing development projects in megalopolis, welfare of people and other issues of mutual interest.

Tessori said Karachi is “Economic hub of Pakistan” and stressed that development of city is development of entire country. The city would be made better with help of all stakeholders, he assured.

Arshad Vohra lauding efforts of Tessori for Karachi  said that cooperation of federal government in progress of city is highly appreciated.
