Pakistan inks agreement to export manpower to Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Overseas Employment Corporation (POEC) and NESMA and Partners, leading contracting company in Saudi Arabia signed an agreement for export of Pakistani manpower to Kingdom. Agreement was signed at Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

POEC is government agency responsible for recruitment and deployment of Pakistani workers abroad. NESMA and Partners is leading Saudi Arabian construction company with portfolio of mega-projects in kingdom.

 marks pivotal collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, paving way for export of substantial Pakistani manpower to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s ambitious infrastructure and development goals.

This agreement will provide Pakistani workers with opportunity to showcase their expertise and contribute to success of these critical infrastructure projects.

Development came after meeting Special Assistant to interim Prime Minister Jawad Sohrab Malik and NESMA and Partners CEO Samer Essam Abdul Samad. Agreement is expected to create significant job opportunities for Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia. It will also help to strengthen economic ties between two countries.

Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq, Director-General of Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment and Joint Secretary of Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development along with community welfare attachés attended.
