PM Shehbaz felicitates Vladimir Putin on re-election

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended warm congratulations to Vladimir Putin on his re-election as President of Russia. In statement shared on X, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his felicitations to President Putin, acknowledging his victory in Russian presidential election.

Premier highlighted significance of strong bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Russia, expressing his eagerness to collaborate with President Putin's administration to further enhance and solidify ties between two nations. President Vladimir Putin secured landslide victory in Russian presidential election, garnering record 88 percent of vote. Meanwhile, in congratulatory letter to Shehbaz Sharif, co-Chair of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Bill Gates felicitated him.

I want to reiterate Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's commitment to government of Pakistan and its people, philanthropist stated in his letter. As you know, our foundation has long supported Pakistan's goal to eradicate polio and I am grateful for your leadership on this issue.

Weve lost important ground in past few months and it will take renewed push to address significant challenges, especially security issues that prevent all children from being vaccinated.
