PN Staff Course team briefed on working capacity by Sindh IG on visit

Karachi: Members of 52nd PN Staff Course and 20th Correspondence Staff Course of Pakistan Navy War College met the IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon at Central Police Office here. Commander Shahzad Akbar was leading team. Matters of mutual interest were discussed. IG Sindh welcoming delegation briefed them on important issues of police.

He said that measures to build operational capacity and investment in technology and techniques were being taken within resource available. He informed on role of Police Recruitment Board Sindh in process of police recruitment on merit. Features of Point Me App in making attendance system effective in keeping data of Sindh Police updated. HRMS importance of CRO in terms of preserving data of criminal elements and making use of it at time of need including use of police patrolling, raids, snap checking, search operations in context of police control over law and order situation were also highlighted.

Usefulness of Hotel i App device in search app device, location of fugitives in hotels, advertising or elements involved in other crimes and timely notification to relevant police are key tools.

Participants expressed their satisfaction and good wishes for aligning policing process under leadership of IG Sindh with modern requirements and taking fruitful steps in this regard. Later commemorative shields were exchanged between IG Sindh and PN staff course.
