Karachi: An encounter took place near Lal Masjid Board Office when accused were fleeing after robbing a citizen Furqan. On reaching police and cautioned to stop they started firing indiscriminately at police. After retaliatory firing and pursuit by police, both accused were arrested in injured condition, police said. Arrested suspects were identified as Huzaifa son of Abrar and Wajid son of Amir Hussain.

Two 30-bore pistol-load magazines, stolen mobile phone, cash and a motorcycle were recovered from possession of arrested accused. Criminal record of accused was being ascertained. Recovered motorcycle’s record is also being checked. Both accused have been shifted to hospital whilst investigation was started by registering case at Police Station.
