Karachi: In a demonstration of unwavering support for its workers, the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) under the leadership and the instructions of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PPP senior leader Dr Asim Hussain distributed a relief cheques of Rs. 500,000 each to the family members of the 12-year-old late Abdul Rahman party’s young activist who lost his life in a tragic firing incident in February and also to his injured brother 16-year-old Abdul Rahman Ismail.

Recognizing the hardship faced by Abdul Rahman’s family, the PPP stepped forward to provide immediate financial assistance where compensation cheques of Rs.500,000 each were given to the families of both brothers.

PPP leaders Faizan Rawat, Maaz Sheikh and Taimur Siyal were also present at the time of handing over the cheques to the family of the deceased worker.

Senior PPP leader Dr. Asim Hussain personally distributed the cheque, offering condolences and expressing solidarity with the bereaved family. “The PPP has a long and proud history of standing by its workers in their times of need and the loss of worker Abdul Rehman is a deep one, and we hope this contribution will ease some of the financial burdens faced by his family”, said Dr Asim.

Dr Asim Hussain also added that Pakistan Peoples’ Party always stands firm with party workers and supporters in times of difficulties and happiness and their sacrifices will never go in vain.

Both were the dedicated workers of PPP, unfortunately, Abdul Rahman tragically passed away after sustaining injuries in a firing incident that occurred at PPP’s office in the New Karachi area in the month of February prior to the General Elections while his brother Abdul Rahman Ismail got severely injured and is now under medical treatment.

It must be mentioned here that Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has always emphasized the importance of supporting the party’s dedicated workforce. This gesture exemplifies the PPP’s firm commitment to its core values and its belief in never leaving its workers behind during difficult times.

It is pertinent to mention here that the arrangements of the compensation amount were made possible through the efforts of PPP leaders Faizan Rawat of PS-124 and senior leader Khawaja Sohail Mansoor. Also, both the leaders provided assistance in fulfilling the medical and the legal formalities of the deceased party worker.
