PPP leader Dr Asim expresses grief over President Raisi, FM Amir’s demise

Karachi: Senior leader Pakistan Peoples’ Party Dr  Asim Hussain in his condolence message on demise of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister and other members of entourage on board of helicopter that met accident, expressed solidarity with Tehran, its people and family members of deceased.

Late President worked with Pakistan to ensure that strategic relations between Pakistan and Iran flourish always,” he added. He said Pakistan nation and its government stand in solidarity with Iran at this difficult time.

Passing of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and those accompanying them following tragic accident would always live in hearts of those who know them as ‘real gentlemen in their deeds”.

Dr Asim wrote on his social media post, “I am deeply saddened to hear about tragic loss of President Iran Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and FM Hossein.”

He added, “My heartfelt condolences go out to their families and people of Iran.”

Efforts of Iran President to improve relations between Pakistan and Iran will always be regarded. May their souls rest in eternal peace, Dr Asim wrote further.
