Saylani Trust launches ‘Umeed Ki Kiran’ project to enroll hundreds out-of-school children

Karachi: Saylani Welfare International Trust announced launching of new project ‘Umeed ki Kiran’ aimed at building network of state-of-the-art charitable schools for enrolling hundreds of thousands of out-of-school children and street kids in country.

Saylani Trust’s new charitable initiative was launched at an event held at Al-Mohsin Sweet Homes and Educational Complex in Korangi.

Chairman Maulana Muhammad Bashir Farooq Qadri said that we embarked upon mission of imparting quality education and conducting mass IT training to youth to earn up to $ 100 billion foreign exchange for country in year.

He expressed his sincerest gratitude to concerned philanthropists, donors and public at large to extend helping hand. He told audience that his non-profit in last year alone had spent Rs 13 billion in 63 different sectors of welfare and humanitarian services in country and abroad.

Volunteers and rescuers belonging to Saylani Trust had reached Turkiye within next 48 hours after earthquake in country on February 8 last year. He said emergency assistance in form of food rations was being provided to oppressed people in Gaza.

Consul General of Oman in Karachi Engineer Sami Abdullah Salim Al Khanjari said audience that after attending event he had firsthand witnessed massive charitable works of Saylani Trust.

Diplomat from Oman said that he had run out of words to befittingly praise welfare activities of Saylani Trust.

Founder of Al-Mohsin Sweet Homes and Educational Complex Haji Abdul Majeed Pardesi said that his institution built in Korangi for providing shelter to over 100 orphan children had been named after his deceased son who had lost his life in an accident.

He announced construction of Mehr-un-Nissa Charity Hospital and medical university in Korangi. Chinese language learning programme would also be launched as future belonged to China.

After ceremony, eminent guests, concerned philanthropists and donors toured Sweet Homes and Educational Complex. Hamza Tabbani, Ghazal Ilyas. Haji Hanif Tayyab, Afzal Chamria, Amjad Chamria, members of Saylani Trust and eminent citizens attended.
