KARACHI: Funeral prayer of constable Yusuf, who was martyred in firing of unknown suspects in limits of Sumanabad Police Station was offered at Police Headquarters Garden South.

According to Home Ministry information, Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar along with IGP Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, Additional IGP Karachi, Zonal DIGs, District SSPs, Pakistan Rangers Sindh officers, relatives of martyred constable, friends and local people attended funeral prayer.  Sindh Home Minister expressed his condolences and sympathy with relatives of martyred constable and said that Sindh government and Sindh Police Department were with them in time of sadness.

Paying tribute to services of martyred constable of Sindh Police, Lanjar said that sacrifices of police martyrs for security of life and property of people and establishment of peace were priceless and unforgettable. Minister issued special orders to senior officers present there to provide prevailing benefits to heirs of martyr.
