SSP District Central opens fast with cops amid check-points visit

Karachi: District Central Police is vigilant to protect streets, markets and important roads from criminal activities and to ensure safety of life and property of public.

During guiding drive in Ramadhan, personnel provided tips to people to tackle criminals and assured all kinds of support and guidance along with protection of life and property to them.

SSP District Central Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqui visiting checking points also opened iftar with people present there and encourage officers and jawans. He inspected snap checking point near Eidgah Ground within limits of Nazimabad Police Station. SP Liaquatabad Division SDPO Nazimabad SHO Nazimabad along with jawans were also present.

Meanwhile, Personnel of Taimuria Police Station conducted an intelligence-based operation targeting gambling activities, resulting in arrest of 7 individuals caught in act. As per news release from  SSP Central office, those apprehended including Dilawar, Muhammad Mansha, Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Yousuf, Muhammad Irfan and Muhammad Bashir.

Sum of 17,850 rupees was seized from  arrested suspects and legal proceedings have been initiated against them. They have been handed over to investigative authorities for further scrutiny.
