SSU Commandos win 8 medals in Rangers shooting event at RSSC

Karachi: A shooting competition held on Defence Day at Rangers Shooting and Saddle Club (RSSC) Karachi. Competition continued for 4 days wherein 367 personnel (male and female) of Pakistan Navy, Police, Rangers, SSU Commandos and civilians participated in 12 different categories. 

DG Rangers Sindh Major General Iftikhar Hassan Choudary and Mrs Iftikhar Hassan were chief guests who presented shields and medals among winners.  Team of SSU Commandos excelled remarkable performance and won in total 8 medals, 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals distinctively. Commandos Muslim Khan, Azmatullah and Ali Hassain won gold, silver and bronze medals in pistol 25-meter immature male category respectively. Whereas, lady commandos Sidra Hassan, Mariam and Rubab acquired gold, silver and bronze medals in same category for females.

In point 22 rifle 50 meter male category, SSU commando Abdullah Khan won silver medal, whilst, in same category for females, Sidra Hassan attained bronze medal.  DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed appreciated SSU Commandos for displaying extraordinary performance, felicitated and wished them best in future endeavours.
