Tessori inaugurates ‘I love Karachi’ board at Sohrab Goth

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori inaugurated ‘I love Karachi’ board at Sohrab Goth. Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saifur Rehman, JDC chief Zafar Abbas and Deputy Commissioner Central Taha Saleem were present. Governor said that this is wonderful effort of Municipality. He said it is collective responsibility of all of us to make city beautiful. Governor said that every person deprived of resources can come to Governor House. Governor House will work for them. Kamran Tessori said that steps are being taken to clean city and make it clean and green. Local Government leadership will take vigorous steps for construction and development of city and I am sure that sustainable solutions to problems of citizens will be among their priorities, he added.

Nasir Javed Chairman of Crescent Art Gallery said that they are working hard on artwork to increase beauty of city and new projects will also be worked on soon.

Prominent artist Chitra Pritam said that Crescent has been working hard for development of art since 15 years. Sameer Nasir CEO of Crescent, Sidra Nasir founder were present.

Meanwhile, a delegation of German company KSB Global met Governor. Managing Director Ralf Kannefass, Chairman Board of Directors Sven Baumgarten, Managing Director/CEO Imran Ghani, Imran Malik and Imran Ahmed,. IDEA Company CEO Saqib Khawaja among members.Governor said German investment will create employment opportunities. He said that KSB’s support in Dhabiji Pumping Station, K-III and K-IV projects. He said that establishment of workshop in Korangi for repairing defective parts and pipes is welcomed, latest technology workshop will provide employment to local people. Delegation told Governor that 700 people are employed in KSB.

Moreover, Governor inquired about health of Naseer Soomro at his residence. Governor issued orders to make bed of his size for Naseer Soomro and announced generator, UPS and monthly stipend.

He said Naseer Soomro is pride and identity of Pakistan and I will take all possible steps to solve problems and difficulties being faced by him. He should also be given an aid of one million rupees in next budget. Naseer Soomro said that he was grateful to Governor.
