WANZ’s BoD endorses for conversion from private to public limited company

KARACHI: Board of Directors of WANZ International group of companies formally endorsed conversion from private to public limited at a meeting presided over by Chairperson Shoaib Ahmed. Vice Chairman Ashfaq Ahmed, President Muhammad Amin Yousuf, CEO of WANZ Technology Syed Aminullah Hussaini, CEO WANZ Tours and Travels Wasim Ahmed, CEO WANZ Global Zainul Abideen, WANZ’s Legal Advisor Saifullah, Executive Director Shahida Qaiser while senior Vice Chairman Darukhan Achakzai joined through video link.

Meeting with detailed deliberations on all points parts of agenda of Day formally approved various proposals.  Aminullah Hussaini a retired member of Board of Directors read out minutes of previous meeting which was approved by Board. Participants discussed audited report and approved it after due consideration.  Appointment of chartered accountant firm Iqbal Associates in next financial year was also approved. Meeting approved resignation of three directors and chief executive officers of various companies and elected Shoaib Ahmed as new group chief executive officer and co-chairman for next three years.  Meeting discussed Pakistan Tech Expo at America and other events scheduled to be held in Canada, United Kingdom, Japan and other countries, apart from upcoming events in Pakistan.  Board of Directors was informed that an international education system is also being introduced under group which will work under an organised system. 

Meeting discussed liaison at public and private sector, accords with various institutions, universities and chambers of commerce and other issues of significant important.
