Water Corp to conduct survey of illegal hydrant

Karachi: All Executive Engineers of Water Corporation should submit report of illegal hydrants, connections and sub soil in their respective areas to concerned Chief Engineer within three days.

In past few days, successful operation against illegal hydrants and illegal connections was conducted in Janjal Goth, Manghopir, Teen Hatti and Mehmoodabad and other areas with help of Rangers, Law Enforcement Agencies and Sindh Police. Details are sought for areas where water supply situation is improved.

COO Water Corporation Asadullah Khan presiding over meeting in which Chief Engineer Water Muhammad Hanif Baloch, Executive Engineers of Water and WTM were present instructed concerned officers to conduct detailed inspection of their respective areas.

He said if any illegal hydrant connections, underground or any other illegal activity is found in area of any Executive Engineer, concerned Executive Engineer will be responsible for it.
