We will take great steps for development of art, culture: Gov Tessori

Karachi: Chairman Nasir Javed and CEO Sameer Nasir of Crescent Art Gallery discussed issues including art and culture with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori. Governor said that art and culture of country is unique and prominent throughout world. Measures will be taken for development of art and culture. Crescent Art Gallery is playing its effective role in this regard. All possible cooperation will be provided in exhibition and other matters. Nasir Javed said that Canada including Pakistan for promotion of art and culture. Art shows and art competitions are organised frequently in UK and other countries to encourage students and improve their skills. Exhibition, workshops and seminars are also organised as they are trying to promote art despite limited resources.

Meanwhile, Dutch Honorary Consul General Tariq Moinuddin Khan and Governor discussed measures to increase Pak-Netherlands relations, exchanges of delegations and matters of mutual interest. Governor said that there is scope for cooperation between two countries in various fields. Later, Honorary Consul General along with Governor visited Hope Bell, Powerful Pakistan Ration Bags and IT Marquee. Honorary Consul said that all public welfare initiatives of Governor are exemplary, especially IT courses will help youth to stand on their own feet.
