ANF Sindh thwart drugs smuggling attempts, accused arrested

Regional Directorate Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh in its operations against drug dealers, foiling attempt of drug smuggling inside and outside country while drugs worth millions of rupees have been recovered.

Zafarullah son of Ghulam Din, Shakira son of Ghulam Din, Sadiqa son of Ehsanullah Naqeebullah, Hamida Bibi wife of Hasanullah and Sadaf were arrested and 32,400 kg of hashish was recovered from possession of accused in a joint operation in Ala Asif Square Sohrab Goth. 

A case has been filed against all arrested accused and further investigation was underway, while ANF and Clifton Police conducted a joint operation at Mahmoud Dive Bus Ada Super Highway and arrested a accused Abdul Rahim son of Abdul Rasheed and recovered 4 kg hashish, a case has been registered against arrested accused. Zahid Abbas Ould Dost Muhammad Chai was trying to smuggle 735 grams of ice in a tea bag which was foiled by ANF, while other accused Rumi Khan son of Sher Afzal was trying to smuggle 984 grams of ice in a tarli bag which was foiled. A case has been registered against accused and investigation has been started.

Likewise, ANF Sindh and Hyderabad Police conducted a joint operation in Mir Mohalla Tando Jam and arrested Hafiz Hussain, son of Niaz Hussain and recovered 2 kg of hashish. While doing so in Hyderabad, Muhammad Ahsan son of Fateh Muhammad was arrested and a case was registered after recovering 25 grams of ice and 20 grams of heroin.
