Karachi: Fazal Karim Dadabhoy’s Revolutionary Contributions recognised with prestigious award- Tamgha-e-Imtiaz. Industrialist Fazal Karim Dadabhoy has been honoured for his exceptional contributions to industrial and diplomatic sectors.  Dadabhoy, pioneer in modification of cement systems with polymers, has been recognised for his role in developing advanced composite construction materials. These materials have significantly impacted architectural and civil engineering sectors globally, leading to their citation in scientific, engineering, and architectural literature worldwide.

His innovations have not only revolutionised construction practices in Pakistan but have also been instrumental in various water conservation, heritage revival and infrastructure development projects. Notable examples include reduction of water seepage in water courses and canals, repair and maintenance of water reservoirs at Lasbella Industrial Estate Development Authority and restoration of Mohatta Palace in Karachi, among others.
