KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori hosted another series of Iftar and dinner at Governor House, attended by a large number of citizens from Karachi, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and various parts of Sindh.

Governor Sindh warmly welcomed the guests, while many attendees took photos and selfies with him. Speaking at the “Ittehad-e-Ramadan” Iftar, Governor Sindh acknowledged the challenges faced by the people but assured them that these issues will soon be resolved. He highlighted that 50,000 underprivileged children are receiving free IT courses at Governor House, with many now earning between five to eight lakh rupees per month within just 11 months.

Governor Sindh further stated that ration distribution among deserving families is ongoing, and public grievances are being addressed through the “Umeed Ki Ghanti” initiative.  He emphasized that Governor House upholds the dignity of humanity, and in celebration of Ramadan, it has been illuminated with festive lights. Encouraging the attendees, he said: “Do not lose hope, do not give up; stay strong.”

He vowed that no injustice would be tolerated in the province, and Pakistan’s youth would stand against any adversary. During the lucky draw at the Ittehad-e-Ramadan Iftar, Shehbaz, son of Javed Ahmed from Mardan, won an Umrah ticket, while Muhammad Javed, son of Muhammad Sharif, secured a 120-square-yard plot in Smart City. Governor Sindh congratulated the winners and assured that this initiative will continue throughout Ramadan.
