KARACHI: Sindh former Governor, senior leader of PML-N Muhammad Zubair assured that government was trying its best to provide maximum relief to poor in upcoming budget and making all-out efforts for strengthening national economy.

Talking to private news channel, he said incumbent government inherited fragile economy as previous government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had left behind huge burden of loans, however, it was taking concrete steps to make country financially stable.

Zubair said that government was strictly committed to ensuring financial discipline through effective policies for enhancing overall level of growth in country.

Replying to question, he said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had restarted all those projects which are very important for general public. Incumbent government soon after coming into power took some unpopular decisions and adopted course of stability for country, Zubair mentioned.

All decisions were aimed to improve economic situation of country, he said and claimed that PTI was responsible for delay of IMF bailout package as it never fulfilled agreement with IMF in past.
