KSE-100 falls over 500 points in aftermath of Peshawar blast

Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) faced jolt as KSE-100 index fell over 500 points in aftermath of blast at a Peshawar masjid that left around 32 dead and nearly 148 injured as worsening security conditions signalled difficult times ahead for country.

By end of session, KSE-100 Index was down 579.26 points or 1.43 percent to trade at 39,871.27. Market participants are also concerned about upcoming visit of an International Monetary Fund delegation to Pakistan and expected mini-budget which is expected to burden common man.
