KWSB officers’ body hosts dinner to praise CEO, COO, employees services

Karachi: A dinner was hosted in honour of CEO and COO of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) by Engineers and Officers Association KWSB. Vice Chairman Water Board Syed Najmi Alam was chief guest. Retired officers were awarded shields, bouquets and gifts.

Chief Executive Officer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed and Chief Operating Officer Asadullah Khan appreciated engineers and officers for good tradition holding event. Salahuddin said that Water Board with support of officials will organise family programme. We will make Board will an exemplary institution. He said government is serious in providing better water supply and drainage facilities to citizens.  

Asadullah Khan said that serving officers and employees of institution including citizens is one of our top priorities. He said that instructions of Sindh Chief Minister and Sindh Local Government Minister will be implemented for improving water supply and drainage system across city. Engineers and officers presented to CEO and COO with shields and bouquets. President Association Nadeem Ahmed Kirmani said that appointment of CEO and COO will improve Board efficiency. General Secretary Shoaib Tughlaq said that officers and employees will get opportunity to learn more from capabilities of CEO and COO.  

Finance Secretary Muhammad Saqib said Board under supervision of CEO and COO will make its name brighter. Water supply and drainage system is improving with these appointments. Services of other officers and employees are praiseworthy.

Sindh government has started new projects for further improvement of water supply and drainage in city, he added. Former MD Fareeda Salam, Director Tax Industries Sohail Khalid, Director Tax District Central Abdul Aziz Koso and Director Admin Sajjad Haider were also present.
