Message of Pakistan ‘peace, brotherhood’: Gov Tessori

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that we have been hearing good things since 75 years. It is about intention and action, even today we are questioning how economy of this country will run. We do not know our direction, where we are going, only as nation we can set path of progress and prosperity.

Addressing Message Pakistan Conference at Jamita Dursat Islamia Governor said that message of Pakistan is message of peace, brotherhood and brotherhood and religion of Islam is also message of peace and brotherhood. He said that we should thank Allah Almighty for this dear country.

Kamran Tessori said that armed forces are making sacrifices. We as Pakistanis have to play our role for development of country. Tessori said that spreading light of Islam in subcontinent was performed by sufis, among these sufis name of Hazrat Khawaja-e-Khwajagan Moinuddin Hasan Chishti (RA) is prominent.

He said that millions of people converted to Islam due to insight, love and hard work of saints, country needs to look at messages of these sufis.

Ustad Abu Abdullah, director of Jamia Al-Islamiyya said that there were many problems in past as well, but they were faced with determination and courage. Faith and sincerity were main reasons, many Muslim countries seem to be ahead of us, but not everyone has natural resources and courage of nation like Pakistan. He said we should think collectivity. Every individual is trustee of this country.

Mufti Yusuf Kashmiri, member of Central Royat Hilal Committee Pakistan said that message of Pakistan is actually built on basis of Quran. Conspiracies are being made against country. Negative character will not only harm Pakistan but Muslims will also be harmed. He said that element of intolerance is harming Pakistan and Islam, media and scholars should play role in guiding in this regard.

Social leader Zulfiqar Ahmad Farooqi said that it is commendable for people of different backgrounds to sit together, University of Studies has demonstrated practicality to create unity and solidarity. Sheikh Abu Muadh Hanif said that Ustad Jamia Al-Islamiyya Pakistan is valuable capital, sacrifices were made for achievement of this country and protection of this country is mission of all of us. President Majlis Wahdat al-Muslimeen Pakistan Allama Sadiq Jafri said that there is need to unite all classes in Pakistan, we can unite against enemy forces regardless of our beliefs.

Meanwhile, Governor received 864 tonnes of relief goods for flood victims from Turkish Consul General to Karachi Cemal Sangu at Karachi International Container Terminal. Maulana Bashir Farooqui head of Saylani Welfare International Trust was also present.
