Minister praises PM for giving go-ahead to HESCO

ABBOTTABAD: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi said that approval of establishment of Hazara Electric Supply Company (HESCO) by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is great decision to facilitate masses of region.

Expressing his views after approval of HESCO, Abbasi said that Prime Minister has accepted longstanding demand of millions of consumers in Hazara Division.

Murtaza Abbassi said that approval of Board of Directors of Hazara Electric Supply Company will be circulated through summary from Cabinet.

He said that establishment of HESCO was approved during tenure of previous PML-N government, however, it was unnecessarily frozen during PTI government.

Now establishment of Hazara Electric Supply Company has been implemented to improve PESCO's performance, enhance consumer convenience and minimise load shedding, adding he said.

He said that delay in establishment of HESCO was due to court stay and now all hurdles have been removed and we got approval of company which will play its role not in development of region but in country as well.
