PM Shehbaz hails UAE President for his role during rains

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hailed United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his efforts to ensure welfare of Emirati people during heavy rains.

Press statement issued from PM Office said that call was centered on his admiration for strong resolve and impeccable efficiency with which UAE leadership had confronted challenges that had emerged from recent rains in country.

PM Shehbaz lauded UAE President, who had once again demonstrated his outstanding leadership qualities and proven his strong commitment to ensuring welfare of Emirati people.

He said that Pakistan had also witnessed heavy rains in recent days, resulting in loss of many precious lives. He called for collective actions to combat challenge of climate change and suggested that both countries strengthen their collaboration in field.

UAE President expressed gratitude to PM Shehbaz's good wishes and reciprocated warm sentiments for people affected from rains and flooding in Pakistan. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation in multifaceted areas.
