Public awareness session held at Nishtar Park

Karachi: An awareness and consultative meeting on construction and development of Nishtar Park was held at Park in collaboration with CLICK and DMC East, which was attended by Administrator DMC East, Syed Shakeel Ahmed, Municipal Commissioner Fahim Khan and representatives of Click.

CLICK informed participants about construction and development of Park, on which participants present gave their suggestions for further improving project and appreciated Click and DMC East for getting feedback before project.

Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that Nishtar Park has historical importance, it is fame all over country due to being centre of political, social and religious activities. It is heartening to note that participants expressed their opinions on project and gave good suggestions. He said that public opinion is always useful, if suggestions are taken in same way before project, it helps in removing shortcomings of project. It is good initiative to organise an awareness program before any project by CLICK. Municipal Commissioner Faheem Khan said that organising awareness programme before development works is good initiative, he thanked cooperation of Sindh government on development work being done in collaboration with DMC East and Click.
