Rain-wind-thunderstorm expected in parts of country: Met Office

KARACHI: Met office informed that rain-wind-thunderstorm with isolated hailstorm is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, eastern Balochistan and eastern Sindh as westerly wave is affecting most parts of country and likely to persist till March 20.

Today partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of country with rain-wind-thunderstorm is likely in Upper/South Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eastern Balochistan and Sindh. Rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred in Islamabad, Punjab, lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Balochistan and Sindh. Partly cloudy/dry weather prevailed elsewhere in country.
