Karachi: Sind Governor Kamran Tessori and former Governor Muhammad Zubair discussed federal cooperation in development projects, welfare measures for people and role of Governor House in this regard. Tessori said that many ongoing public welfare projects from Governor House were in pipeline. He said that Eid-ul-Adha, rations and sacrificial meat was given to white-clad people and free IT courses are being organised for youth. Youth of province will be made skilled through IT courses. Zubair said that public welfare initiatives of Kamran Tessori are worthy of praise, youth will get employment through IT courses.

Meanwhile, Governor visited headquarters of Special Security Unit (SSU). DIG Maqsood Memon and senior police officers welcomed him. Governor was given band salute. Later, Tessori visited various departments of Special Security Unit. He also inspected shooting range. DIG Maqsood Memon briefed him on measures for maintaining law and order, training of police force, professional capacity and other issues. Governor congratulated SSU team for their excellent performance, He said that development continuity of peace and order is necessary for prosperity. He said that economic hub of Karachi cannot bear lack of peace in any case, in this regard performance of Special Security Unit is satisfactory. DIG Maqsood Memon, while giving briefing on professionalism of Special Security Unit said that SSU personnel armed with modern weapons and always active and alert and fully capable of dealing with any untoward incident.

On other hand Consul General of Qatar Mishaal Muhammad AA Al Ansari had farewell meeting with Governor Tessori. Governor expressed good wishes to Mashaal Muhammad for his next responsibility. Governor said that as Consul General you have played significant role in increasing Pakistan-Qatar relations. Consul General thanked Governor for his close cooperation.

Moreover, Governor condemned Zhob terrorist attack and prayed for elevation of ranks of martyrs and patience for bereaved. Governor said that sacrifice of martyrs is debt to entire nation. Pakistan Army will eliminate terrorists soon with support of people, adding that martyrs are crown and pride of nation.
