Administrator’s slot right of MQM-P until new LG polls: Tessori

KARACHI: A Karachi Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) announced verdict in three cases of provocative speech against Muttahida Qaumi Movement -Pakistan (MQM-P) leaders. As per court’s decision, six accused including Farooq Sattar, Aamir Khan, Waseem Akhtar, Khawaja Izharul Hasan, Qamar Mansoor, Mahfooz Yar Khan have been acquitted in three cases.

According to police, said cases were registered against accused in different police stations of city, in which they have been accused of facilitating provocative speech of MQM founder.

Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori while talking to journalists said that administrator's slot was right of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) till new Local Government (LG) polls under political agreement with ruling Pakistan Peoples' Party. In an informal conversation with journalists, Kamran Tessori said that he is trying to establish better coordination between Centre and province. "You will see that I will take big decisions for betterment of city within a month and added that "Sindh Chief Minister and PPP has also owned me and accepted me as their Governor."

Tessori also predicted that water scarcity issue will be intensified in coming years. He expressed sorrow over failure of government to complete first phase of K-IV project.
