Bilawal Bhutto inaugurates Zia Moheyddin Flyover at Johar Chowrangi

KARACHI: Another milestone achieved by PPP govt with completion of Johar Chowrangi Flyover at record time of 5 months. Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurated Zia Moheyddin Flyover constructed by Local Government department at Johar Chowarngi to resolve traffic jam issue of area people.

Inauguration ceremony was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Minister Local Govt Nasir Shah, Minister Information Sharjeel Memon, Minister Social Welfare Shahla Raza and others. Minister Local Govt Syed Nasir Shah briefing Chairman PPP said that Flyover and Underpass at Johar Chowarngi intersection project has been launched for Rs 2.14 billion. He added that work on flyover has been completed while work on underpass was in progress. Work on flyover was started in October 2022 and it stands completed while construction of underpass was launched in March 2023. Length of flyover is 461 meters while its width is 18.2 meters. Length of bridge is 226 meters. It has been installed double arm poles with LED lights.

Chairman urged the local government minister to speed up work on underpass so that it could be completed at earliest. It must be mentioned here that PPP govt seems committed to facilitate masses thru uncountable development works all over Karachi.
