KARACHI: Karachi Board of Secondary Education (BSEK) announced schedule of SSC part II annual examinations and imposed ban on use of mobile phones by teachers and students in examination centres premises. During press conference, BSEK Chairman Sharaf Ali Shah announced that annual examination of SSC part II will being from May 8, while examination will be held in two shifts.

Chairman said that more than 700,000 students will participate. Meanwhile 524 examination centres have been set up for 393,264 students to take part in Karachi. He said that strict security measures will be taken to prevent copy culture both inside and outside examination centres and imposed ban on use of mobile phones by teachers and students inside examination centres premises. During examinations, Section 144 will be implemented around examination centres in all divisions. Meanwhile, 79 candidates will take part in examinations from jail.
