Business, office hours during Ramadhan-ul-Mubarak for banking sector

KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan issued office and business hours for banking sector in country during ensuing month of Ramadhan-ul-Mubarak 1445 A.H. Central bank in statement issued here, informed that SBP will observe office hours from Monday to Thursday from 09am to 03pm with prayer break from 2pm to 2pm whereas on Fridays office hours will be from 08am to 1pm without break.

Office hours will also be followed by all banks, development finance institutions (DFIs) and microfinance banks (MFBs). Central bank further advised banking sector to observe business (banking) hours for public dealing from Monday to Thursday from 09am to 02pm without break whereas on Fridays business (banking) hours for public dealing will be from 08:30am to 1pm without break. After month of Ramadhan-ul-Mubarak, above timings will automatically revert to pre-Ramadhan timings, it added.
