ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif rejecting all explanations of Minster for Energy Khurram Dastgir over prolonged power break down in country has said this all is unpardonable.

Responsibility will have to be fixed and those found responsible will have to be punished, he said this while presiding over Cabinet meeting here at PM House.  PM expressed annoyance over participants of Cabinet at inception of meeting. He rejected all explanations from Ministry of Power and Minister Khurram Dastgir saying entire country remained plunged in darkness and you could not find fault. Instead of sitting in closed room, go to filed and ascertain matters.

PM inquired from Minister have you any realisation how much people suffered and underwent trouble. This all is not acceptable. Fix responsibility and award punishment.  If power plants were not repaired or transmission system was old then who is its responsible. Still complaints are there that power supply has not been restored fully so far. This complaint should be redressed.

PM said Minister who cannot discharge his obligations honestly should leave his post. Participants of meeting said people are already annoyed with government due to inflation. Due to this prolonged power break down we are under fire everywhere. Meeting approved several agenda items.  Briefing on launching media campaign about conservation of electricity was given to participants of meeting.

Tosha Khana matter also came under discussion. Authorities gave detailed briefing to participants of meeting about Toshakhana.  Cabinet gave approval to make public all record of Toshakhana. How many gifts were received by any ruler and amount was paid against them. Ministerial committee recommendations about Toshakhana were approved.
