Karachi: Chairman Liaquatabad Town Faraz Haseeb visited masajid and imambargahs regarding provision of municipal facilities to mourners during Muharram. Liaquatabad Town Athar Saeed and other municipal officers were present. Chairman visited masajid and imambargahs in area and also met organisers of procession and members of Majalis Committee.

He issued instructions to complete local arrangements for service of Hussain’s pilgrims before 1st of Muharram. Instructing officials of Sanitation Department to carry out special cleaning along with filling of potholes, planting of roads and lighting arrangements around places of majalis and religious gatherings and passageways of processions he said officials of Sanitation Department should ensure possible civic facilities. Action will be taken against those who are negligent. He directed officers of anti-encroachment department to immediately put an end to encroachments on passageways of Muharram procession.
