Cops, volunteers ensuring smooth flow of traffic in District East: Administrator

Karachi: Administrator DMC East Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that services of volunteers to keep traffic flowing during busy hours of Ramadhan are commendable, volunteers are playing their role to keep traffic flow.  Visiting areas to distribute megaphone to traffic volunteers on different roads where they are engaged in controlling traffic he inspected drain cleaning work in Manzoor Colony.

Director Tauqeer Abbas, Tufail Durrani, Jam Rizwan and Deputy Director Irshad Ali were present. He said that after deployment of 100 volunteers by DMC East, traffic is moving smoothly, there are 21 such places in District where traffic volunteers are keeping traffic moving.

He monitored internal drain cleaning work near Allama Iqbal Road and Manzoor Colony along with Assistant Executive Engineer Shahbaz Hasan and Sub Engineer Arshad Naeem. He directed that no laxity should be shown in keeping drains clean and we want residents of District not to face any difficulty in monsoon.
