RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed said that decision would be taken about two provincial assemblies (Punjab and KP) within one week. Former Interior Minister on his Twitter underlined instant challenges being faced by state.
He said that country was facing an economic catastrophe whereas power-hungry people were ruling over them. Rasheed said that apolitical approach of institutions was commendable, but it’s nearly impossible for institutions to stay aloof from public affairs. Country had been economically shattered by people with sheer greed for power, he added.
In his last public address in Rawalpindi, Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan announced that he would dissolve Punjab and KP assemblies in protest against incumbent government, Rasheed said while quoting Imran Khan’s statement. PTI leadership has been striving for an early election in country and holding protests to pressurise coalition government, Rasheed added.
