District Central Police nabs three, recovers drugs, arms

Karachi: District Central Police Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan in an operation on secret information near Katti Pahari nabbed two drug dealers and a street criminal. Arrested accused are habitual criminals their records was being ascertained.

Accused were identified as Ali Akbar son of Musa, Faizanullah son of Amanullah and Shiraz son of Muhammad Yameen. Around 60 grams hashish, mobile phones, cash and a TT pistol 30 bore with magazine besides three rounds were recovered from their possession.

Case has been registered against accused and investigation was going on. Meanwhile, Sir Syed Police arrested four operatives of 8-member street criminal gang of South Punjab. Among arrested are Naveed, Sagar Abbasi, Asif and Raza Abbas. Ten mobile phones, four pistols, eight round purses and a motorcycle was recovered from possession of arrested accused. Accused are residents of Qayyumabad and Sarjani Town and were committing crimes on route from Qayyumabad to Sarjani. They revealed that citizens were robbed on Baloch Colony Bridge, Hasan Square Bridge, Liaquatabad Bridge, Nagan Chowrangi Bridge.

Accused revealed that they used motorcycles to rob citizens sitting at roadside tea hotels. Accused were met with an encounter with Sir Syed Police a week ago and later managed to escape. Case has been registered and investigation was on. Gabol Town Police on a tip-off raided Block 15 Federal B and arrested Rehmatullah son of Nabi Gul and Faisal son of Muhammad Tariq.

Both were habitual criminals on police record. Meanwhile, accused Adnan has previously been arrested by Joharabad, Soldier Bazar and Civil Line Police on charge of possessing illegal weapons, theft and other crimes. Faisal was arrested from Nazimabad for drug, bike lifting and other incidents. About 240 grams of hashish, a TT pistol with 30 bore load magazine and a motorcycle stolen from Gulshan Iqbal Police Station was recovered. Case have been registered.
