Dr Asim Hussain praises Arshad Nadeem for making Pakistan proud globally

Karachi: Senior leader Pakistan Peoples’ Party  and former Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain in his message said that entire nation is proud of Arshad Nadeem for his remarkable performance in Commonwealth Games as athlete bagged gold medal for Pakistan in javelin throw competition.

  Talking exclusively to Daily National Courier Dr Asim said, “I am proud of Arshad as his achievement hoisted Pakistan’s flag and playing national anthem on international arena”.

Dr Asim said that Nadeem’s  brilliance nevertheless with injury shows his sheer committment matchless by all means and determination to winning gold medal is outcome of confidence in Allah and yourself.

“I congratulate him thousand times on this feast and I am confident that in coming years ahead in the international events Arshad will sure bring ‘GOLD’ for country”. Dr Asim also congratulate parents and family of Arshad for this great win.  “Now it is high time for Pakistan Sports Board to take concerted measures to promote young talents enabling them to bring fame and pride for country in world of sports.”

He also praised weightlifter Nooh Dastagir Butt who won gold medal for Pakistan in Commonwealth Games 2022 with a record lift of 405kg.

Besides Dr Asim praised Pakistani runner Sajar Abbas, wrestlers Muhammad Sharif Tahir and Ali Asad who bagged silver and bronze medals in Commonwealth Games 2022.

Ex-minister also said that there is no dearth of talent in Pakistan but it is much needed to promote youth across international platforms.
