Karachi: Sharh Masnavi and Sajjada Nashin Khanqay Moloy Rome Dr. Burhanuddin Ahmed Saeedi met Consul General of Turkiye Cemal Sangu. In meeting, Pakistan-Turkiye relations, teachings of Maulana Rum’s Masnavi, growing role of Turkiye in world in 2023 and other matters of mutual interest were discussed.

Dr. Burhanuddin Ahmed Saeedi said that among other things, Masnavi is common in both countries, Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi’s Masnavi is actually a Persian translation and commentary of Holy Quran. Maulana Rum gave message of love through Masnavi and this is reason that after 1001 days of training in Maulana Rum monastery, human body becomes capable of speaking only good things. He said that Maulana Rumi’s message is universal and this awareness is also message of nation, his Masnavi is heart touching speech. Ahmad said that Pakistan-Turkiye relations span centuries and Masnavi is also big part of these relations. Dr. Burhanuddin Ahmad presented complete set of Masnavi Maulana Rome to Consul General. Cemal Sangu said that Turkiye recognises love of Pakistani people, while government and people are always ready to help Pakistan.
