G-B ministers, Gov Sindh discuss tourism, exchange of delegations

Karachi: Delegation of ministers from Gilgit-Baltistan discussed promotion of tourism in country, increasing cooperation between Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan, exchange of delegations in various fields and issues of mutual interest with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori here.

Law and Health Minister Syed Sohail Abbas, Finance Minister Engineer Muhammad Ismail and Provincial Education Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Ghulam Shahzad Agha were included in delegation.

Governor said that paradise valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan, which are rich in tourist destinations, have immense attraction for tourists, adding that humility and hospitality of people of Gilgit-Baltistan is unmatched. Ministers of Gilgit-Baltistan called Governor’s actions exemplary for public welfare. Later, delegation along with Governor inspected ration bags and IT marquee of powerful Pakistan. Meanwhile, Shoaib Sadal head of Commission for Minority Rights met with Governor. They discussed issues related to rights of minorities in Pakistan. He briefed Governor about basic functions of minority rights. Governor said that minority community has played an important role in establishment of Pakistan and development of country. Kamran Tessori said that all minorities including Christians, Hindus and Sikhs are living peacefully, they have complete religious freedom here and Pakistan is safest country in world for minorities.
