Gov Tessori inaugurates Road to Makkah project

 Karachi:  Governor saw off pilgrims at Jinnah International Airport. Addressing ceremony, he said that Ministry of Religious Affairs’ efforts were commendable under Road to Makkah project.

He inaugurated Road to Makkah first batch, accompanied with Saudi Ambassador, Consul General of Karachi and officials of Karachi Airport.  Moreover, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori along with former caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar visited Javed Nihari Dastgir. Talking to media, Governor said that citizens of Central district have welcomed former caretaker prime minister with flowers. Pakistan cannot forget his services as caretaker Prime Minister.

Anwaarul Haq Kakar said that since childhood, Karachi has been city of our dreams. Karachi can be rightly called Mini Pakistan. He said that It will be unfair if Karachi is not mentioned along with big cities of world. Ex-caretaker Sindh Minister Arshad Wali Muhammad was also present. Meanwhile, Governor attended Family Summit Award 2024 ceremony organised by JDC. JDC’s Zafar Abbas welcomed Governor. Tessori said that Zafar Abbas needs no introduction, he is working day and night to improve lives of needy. We have to support each other, serving people is not just for everyone, every person here is serving people in one way or another. Kamran Tessori said that there are many problems but there is also solution, let us be each other’s messiah and support each other.

Furthermore, Governor in his message on Mother’s Day said this is great and sacred relationship, mother is person who loves her children. Mother always provides guidance and love in addition to being with us in our pains, Tessori said. On other hand, Begum of Sindh Governor participated in annual exhibition of Pakistan Navy Women’s Association as special guest. She inaugurated annual exhibition. Number of women from different walks of life participated in event.
