KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar had taken strict notice of street crimes and there would be no compromise on it.

Within coming days, stern action will be taken against people involved in corruption of millions of rupees, Tessori said while talking to media after departure of caretaker Prime Minister from Governor House.

He said that long-standing problem of people of Karachi is K-Electric bills and load shedding and caretaker Prime Minister had instructed authorities about that issue. "If KE does not correct its direction, PM will hopefully take stern action," said Sindh Governor.

Tessori said that Anwaarul Haq Kakar is first Prime Minister who had spent long time in Karachi and he had detailed discussion with business community leaders to guide them and solve their problems.

Governor said that caretaker PM had also appreciated process of ration distribution and 'Bell of Hope' initiative at Governor House and termed it an excellent initiative and said that such initiatives should be done in Pakistan.

Tessori said he had met officials of Saudi Arabia and talked to them about investment in Pakistan, immigration and release of Pakistanis involved in petty cases.

In response to question, he said that actions would be seen in caretaker government. "Raising voice against mafias is also action," he said.

To another question, Governor said that he condemns murder of KTN reporter Jan Muhammad Maher and shares grief of bereaved. He asked IGP Sindh to arrest journalist's killers immediately, submit report, investigate murder and constitute JIT in this regard.
