Karachi: Pakistan observed Kashmir Solidarity Day with renewed commitment to support just struggle of Kashmiris for their inalienable right to self-determination as enshrined in relevant resolutions of United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

People and government and Azad Jammu and Kashmir mark day every year to express solidarity with Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) not only to renew their love and affection towards them but also to reiterate commitment and dedication for liberation of occupied valley from Indian subjugation. People from different walks of life, including politicians, doctors, lawyers, social activists, students and others hold rallies and demonstrations and form human chains across country to infuse new spirits in Kashmiris, who have been fighting for their freedom.

All Pakistani missions abroad organised seminars and photo exhibitions to draw world’s attention toward worst form of subjugation and human rights violations committed by India in IIOJK. Moreover, special programmes aired by national electronic media while print media published special supplements highlighting significance of Kashmir Day and decades-long struggle of Kashmiri people against illegal Indian occupation.

India is keeping major part of internationally-acknowledged disputed Himalayan Jammu Kashmir state in her illegal and forced occupation at might of her occupational military power since October 27, 1947, against aspirations of people of State.
