LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan started to consider option of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif taking vote of confidence from National Assembly. Sources privy to development said that deposed premier had completed consultation with companions. There is probability that President Dr Arif Alvi may ask PM Shehbaz to take vote of confidence.

According to PTI sources, Mr Khan will make final decision on Prime Minister’s vote of confidence, adding that political and parliamentary strategies were being considered in current situation.

Meanwhile, time running out, Fawad invites government to sit down on election framework. Earlier today, PTI senior leader Fawad Chaudhry said that elections should be held simultaneously in entire country. Talking to media here, he said that for how long federal government will run away from election, there is still time, sit with us on framework of election.

Former Minister said that Governor had received summary for dissolution of Punjab Assembly, adding that instead of waiting for another 24 hours, Governor should order dissolution of provincial assembly so that process for interim setup could begin.
