Karachi mayor will be from JI: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

KARACHI: JI Karachi Amir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said Election Commission (EC) has become slave of PPP and PPP wants to make its own mayor by trampling Constitution. "It is demand of ladlas that Saddar Town is wanted by jialas. PPP wants to make its mayor of Karachi by trampling Constitution, he said this in media talk here. He held joke is being made in name of election. Election Commission has become slave of PPP, he added.

He said that reserved seats of PTI have been removed from ROs list. Election Commission should discharge its obligations. Karachi mayor will be from JI, he held. PTI representatives are in contact with us, he pointed out. He remarked Karachi city is facing serious local body's issues. K-4 project could not be completed in 18 years. Bilawal should tell why K-4 project could not be completed.

He said you may have got tanker free of cost but ask poor they are facing what situation. Petition has been requested for instant hearing, he underscored.

He alleged local body polls are being held hostage. Sindh government is using mean tactics to occupy polls. LB polls were held after two and half years struggle, he said adding JI got votes more than any other party despite controversial voting.

He alleged PPP changed results through ROs undemocratically. PPP candidates were declared successful by changing results through ROs.
