Kundi expresses grief over loss of lives during rains in KP

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: State Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Faisal Karim Kundi expressed his grief over loss of lives and property during rain-related incidents in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In statement, he said his heart was saddened by loss of precious human lives due to rains in many areas of province. He condoled with bereaved families and sympathised with affected people.

He prayed to Almighty for elevation of ranks of deceased in paradise and for early recovery of those who got injured in rainstorms.

He said that government and related institutions were in contact with provincial government and local administrations to help victims. He said that steps would be taken to compensate farmers for damages caused to their crops and orchards. Faisal Kundi directed local leadership of his party to play their role in helping victims. He said that PPP equally grieved over loss of lives due to rainstorms.

Kundi said all possible help would be provided to injured. He appealed the party workers to donate blood for injured people. Besides, workers also take part in rehabilitation work by making liaison with administrations.
