Mayor Karachi inaugurates laying down of water supply pipeline

KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that city is home of all of us, we have to adopt this city, holding each other’s hand will run this city, let’s make inter-Karachi alliance for betterment of city.

Addressing inaugurating laying down of new water supply pipeline from Banaras Chowk to Frontier Gausiya Water Pumping Station in Metroville he said that with lying of new water supply line from Banaras Chowk to Ghousia Pumping Station enough drinking water will be provided to Rabbani Mohalla, B&C Line Sewari Baba, Ghausiya Mohalla, Pahari, Muslim Town, Lal Bus, Subhani Mohalla and other areas. UC Chairman Idris Khan Shamzai, Asad Aman, Mumtaz and local leaders of PPP were present.

Mayor said that existing pipeline in area was proving to be rotten and inadequate and residents of area were facing severe difficulties in this situation, therefore, on identification of UC Chairman and other elected representatives of Pakistan Peoples’ Party are working across city in this regard.

Problems of water supply as well as drainage are also being solved on priority, new line is being laid from Hub Canal for citizens of Karachi, on which work was being carried out.
