MQM-P, PML-N pledge unity for economic stability

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and nominated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan delegation.

During meeting, which focused on crucial political issues, Shehbaz Sharif reiterated paramount importance of upholding sanctity of vote, underscoring need for all parties to unite to preserve country from economic turmoil.

Acknowledging MQM’s role in averting potential crises such as default and no-confidence motions, Sharif expressed appreciation for their collaborative efforts.

Both parties concurred on necessity of prioritising national interests over political gains, resolving to work collectively towards serving the populace and addressing their concerns.

MQM delegation commended Shehbaz Sharif’s inclusive leadership, highlighting his adeptness in fostering unity among various stakeholders over 16 months.

Expressing optimism, they expressed hope that under Sharif’s leadership, Pakistan and its people would overcome prevailing challenges.

Senator Ishaq Dar, Rana Sanaullah, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, Rana Mashhood and Attaullah Tarar from PML-N, while MQM delegation comprised Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Mustafa Kamal and Dr Farooq Sattar were in meeting.
