Omani envoy, Governor Sindh vow to strengthen bilateral ties in multiple sectors

KARACHI: An event to mark 52nd National Day of Sultanate of Oman was held at a local hotel in metropolis. Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori was chief guest along with Sindh ministers Nasir Shah and Saeed Ghani. Speaking to journalists, Governor said that both Pakistan and Omani Sultanate enjoys cordial relationship with each other since long time and it is much needed to further strengthen our bilateral ties across diversified fields.

He congratulated Consul General of Oman Sami Abdullah Al-Khanjari and people of Sultanate of Oman on day of national celebrations. CG of Oman in Karachi speaking to media persons said that Pakistan and Oman play pivotal role in multiple sectors of development and innovation whether it is about technology, tourism, cultural ties, education and government to government social contacts we always remain as a bosom friend.

Omani CG Sami Abdullah also vowed to create more opportunities for youth of both countries to gain expertise and knowledge in different fields of mutual interest and called for increasing people to people communication between both states Entrancing National Day celebrations of Oman was largely attended by city’s elite including politicians, diplomatic community including envoys of China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Russia, Malaysia, UAE, Qatar and others, delegation of business community, philanthropists and journalists were also present at event.  Omani people marked renewed renaissance and its glorious reign under leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, who affirmed his constant quest to advance Oman’s modern cultural and economic status and his keenness to make Omani citizens as true partners in their country’s comprehensive development.

His Majesty Sultan’s vision for future of this benign land reflected positively on integration of government departments with private sector establishments and civil society institutions. This has in turn brought about tangible results in different social, economic and political fields.
