Gaza: Palestinian civil defence teams continue to recover bodies of Palestinians believed to have been buried by Israeli forces in mass graves in courtyard of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Middle East Eye reported.

Gaza’s government media office said  two mass graves have been discovered so far and at least 170 bodies have been recovered, with number of bodies found reaching nearly 400, according to civil defence workers.

Meanwhile, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has said that role of major technology companies and international social media platforms in killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza must be investigated, Al Jazeera reported.

“These companies need to be held accountable if found to be complicit or not to have taken adequate precautions to prevent access to, and exploitation of, users’ information,” human rights group said.

There are frequent reports that Israel uses number of artificial intelligence-supported technological systems to illegally track and monitor Palestinians, group said.

“Google and Israel are collaborating on several technology initiatives, including Project Nimbus, which provides the Israeli army with tools for increased monitoring and illegal data collection of Palestinians, thereby broadening Israeli policies of denial and persecution, plus other crimes against Palestinian people.”

Moreover, Israel’s State Attorney has indicted sister of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on charges of incitement and showing solidarity with “Terror group”, after she allegedly praised Hamas’ October 7 attack, Reuters reported.

Sabah al-Salem Haniyeh (57) has been held in custody since her arrest on April 1, Israel’s justice ministry said. There was no immediate comment from her lawyer.
